Vedran Šilipetar was born in Pula in 1980. He graduated at the School of Applied Arts and Design in his hometown before pursuing his passion through a Sculpture Course at the Academy of Applied Arts in Rijeka. His art is seen at numerous exhibitions in Pula, Zagreb, Paris, Langenfeld, Bratislava, Motovun, Groznjan, Labin, Buzet, Vodnjan, Rijeka, Belgrade, Samobor, UK Portugal, France, Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Germany.
Vedran Šilipetar is a distinguished member of the Croatian Association of Artists and the Croatian Society of Composers. His artistic versatility encompasses sculpture, painting, graphics, mosaics, interior design, but extends into composing and performing as a musical author. Notably, he has garnered multiple accolades, including the 1st prize for graphic design at Ars Sacra in 2011, the 1st prize for painting at Ars Sacra in 2017, and the 3rd prize for painting at Ex tempore in Grožnjan, 2017.

His remarkable bronze and iron sculptures grace the collections of both domestic and international galleries, such as Režek, DÈ•cker, and Haefliger, as well as several public institutions. Šilipetar is also renowned for his creation of monumental iron sculptures, many of which are publicly displayed. While his creative hub is mostly based in Croatia, artistic endeavors and engagements often sway him across Europe, most notably to Spain.
